Gro Rite Garden Beds

The story

Gro Rite Garden Beds makes raised-bed gardening simple, durable, and rewarding. Their beds work for anyone, from a first-time planter with a small backyard to a seasoned grower expanding their plot. They came to us for two pieces: a commercial to drive interest in the product, and a brand film to tell the bigger story of who they are.

We filmed both in Stanley, North Carolina, just up the road from our Gastonia studio. Shooting outdoors meant working with the weather and chasing the light. Early morning and late afternoon sun gave the footage a warm, golden quality that suits a brand built around growth and time spent outside.

The commercial is focused and practical. It shows how the beds go together, how sturdy they are, and how quickly you can go from an empty yard to something green and thriving. We shot close product details to highlight build quality, then pulled back to show the beds in real, lived-in spaces. The pacing is upbeat and clear, made to work in short online and social placements.

The brand film slows down. It gives room to the people behind Gro Rite and the reasons they care about helping others grow their own food. Interviews are paired with observational footage of hands in soil, seedlings coming up, and harvests coming in.
