Thriveworks
Filmed in Charlotte, NC
We produced a commercial for Thriveworks that delivers a message of comfort, accessibility, and hope — connecting people to therapy and psychiatry when they need it most.
The story
Asking for help is one of the hardest things a person can do. Thriveworks connects people to therapy and psychiatry, and they wanted a commercial that would make that first step feel a little easier. The message was comfort, accessibility, and hope, delivered in a way that felt human rather than clinical.
We filmed the commercial in Charlotte. From the start, we focused on tone. Mental health advertising can easily feel cold or overly polished, and that's the opposite of what someone needs when they're struggling. We wanted viewers to see themselves on screen and feel understood before a single line of copy appeared.
We built the spot around relatable, everyday moments, the kind of quiet struggles people rarely talk about. Warm, natural light and soft, unhurried camera movement set a calm mood. Casting and direction focused on subtle, believable performances. As the commercial moves forward, the visual language opens up with more light and more connection, mirroring the relief of finding support.
Clarity mattered just as much as emotion. Viewers needed to understand what Thriveworks offers and how simple it is to get started. We structured the edit so the story lands first and the message follows naturally, with a clear call to action that never feels pushy.
Work like this is close to our hearts. We believe visual media can break down walls between organizations and the people they serve, and in healthcare those walls can keep someone from getting help. Helping Thriveworks reach people with a message of hope was a privilege.
If your organization needs a commercial that handles a sensitive subject with care, while still being clear about what you offer, we'd love to hear your story. We're based in Gastonia and serve Charlotte and the surrounding region.
